Oh, this family made me happy. They were so much fun to photograph, such good sports following me all over one of my favorite spots that, sadly, we realized was completely leveled just days prior to our session. The fields were all torn out due to fire season, scattered along the path were dead sunflowers, the beautiful greenery that let the golden hour light trickle in -completely gone. I have to admit, I was kinda nervous how this would go.
And then my worse nightmare came true. A huge snake slithered out and crossed the path just feet away from us taking these pictures.
I screamed, but Tina was super calm! We just went about our business, making sure to keep a little distance between us and the big, scary snake. (ok, he wasn’t that big).

We had to walk a little deeper into this location to find some good spots, but we did find them.
