Family Film Questoinnaire
Your final film will be anywhere from 3-5 minutes, depending on what we do and how our time together goes. It is the length of one song. Every film is different and special, and I want yours to be unique to your family. Even though the final film is not that long, it can take hours to capture enough clips to pull it all together. Once I have a timeline done, we can discuss what time would be best to start and about how long we will film.
My goal is to get to know your family beforehand, so I can watch for certain things that will make this film feel like home for you. The first part of that process is this form. Please answer the questions with as much detail as you like.
Next, I will put together a loose outline of our time together, making sure to note the “must have” clips and a general timeframe for us to follow to make sure I cover everything important. This is just a rough draft for me, because I have found in doing these family films that there are times when we adjust or go off plan, and that is completely fine. Everything is adjustable.
Keep in mind when you are choosing outfits for the day that we are making a timeless, classic film of your everyday life, so timeless, classic clothing choices are always best. Stay away from bright, loud patterns and colors, anything with a logo or saying on it, clothing that distracts from the overall feel of the film. Wear what makes you feel good, comfortable enough to lay on the bed and snuggle the baby, but pulled together enough that you feel good about yourself. I am happy to help with this, and I offer a styling service you can access on my website here.
Again, thank you for inviting me in to your home, your most vulnerable, sacred space. I am here if you have any questions along the way. Please feel free to call me at any time. I am looking forward so much to creating this memory with your family.
